ABOUT THE GAME

HOW TO PLAY

Run in 12 thrilling races to become the champion of dragsters. After each race you earn money that you can use to improve your car. You can change the look of your dragster, and also buy parts for the engine, the wheels and the chassis. You can also test the dragster against the clock and make improvements to the chassis, wheels and spoilers. You start with 600 pounds in cash, that enable you to make some starting improvements to your car. There's 3 markets: painting, engineering and car parts. In your first race you run against Ripper Andretti, but as you advance the rivals will be more challenging.

At the market you interact with the mouse. To run, proceed in 3 steps: 1) wait the semaphore to be green; 2) with the mouse drag the acceleration arrow to the right; accelerate as much as you can! 3) use the arrow keys up/down to change gear at the right time (pass from first to second gear, then to third, etc.); you can use the rev counter to know when it's time to do it. When you are on the run, press the SHIFT key for nitro boost (but you have to buy it before you are able to use it).
